  • Set up HR infrastructure to support America, Japan, Middle-East & EU branch offices. Support Asia merged with another company in employment & compensation/benefit refined. .
  •  Improve significantly team capability & performance in efficiently operating Taiwan & global HR support.  Initiate global e-HR platform set up & implementation; initiate corporate communication system.

08/02 ~ 08/04 Dell, Taiwan Design Center 美商戴爾電腦 (200 employees in Taiwan), Sr. HR manager/Generalist for 3 BUs - Engineering, Procument & Sales in Taiwan 

  •  Work with US HR & Engineering BU to set up Taiwan design center – from 10 to 200 hires within 18-month period with comprehensive HR fundamental completed. This achievement is benchmarked by China Design center.
  • Build up the compensation structure based on local market & launch new benefit program for employee needs.
  • Build up the meritocracy system by building performance management & alignment/connection with Corporate.
  • Develop the retention program as proactive solution provider for business.
  • Set up the engagement model with US HR in talent management and planning.

  •  Outstanding on record-breaking of staffing cycle time, cost-saving, hiring-the-best and know-how sharing to worldwide staffing team. Successfully to recruit new-hires on. Average 25 days for hiring the best, compared with 90 days, Asia target in 2001.
  • Outstanding to promote Employee Referral Program in Taiwan from 40% to 70% in 2001, compared with Asia average on 40%, which has decreased the hiring cost up to 30%. It has become the most best-known-method worldwide and benchmark by other sites.
